Saturday with Daddy

Supper with Daddy
Daddy's deer
Today Daddy and I hunkered down and stayed in the house while Mommy ran a 5k race at tribble mill.  She did pretty good even though it was a little longer than 5k.  We all had lunch and then Daddy brewed a beer in the garage and watched the UGA game.  After my nap I got to see the rest of the butt whipping of Georgia Southern.  In the evening Mommy went to her friends Lauren's birthday dinner with the mommies from Gymboree.  Daddy and I made hot dogs and crescent rolls and a squirrel for dinner.  Daddy wanted me to eat some but I didn't try it.  I can't wait to try some of the deer that we picked up yesterday at the red barn.  We also got our turkey yesterday for the feast on Thursday.

Fun with Daddy

Mommy had to work all day today.  Daddy and I had breakfast and then we went shopping! I love shopping with daddy.  We went to our favorite place Kroger.  I love Kroger so much that I even know the commercials on t.v.  We picked out our turkey and all the other goodies for Thanksgiving.  Then after shopping daddy took me to get his deer from the deer processor.  I loved looking at all the animals.  I got a little scared of some of them though.  But I saw lots of deer.

I was a little fussy after mommy got home from work.  I really wanted to go outside. So mommy got me all bundled up and we went outside and played for just a few minutes.  Then I was fine.  I then ate a WHOLE banana.  I think I was just hungry...my asked me what I wanted and I told her nana but I guess she thought I wanted banana Puffs...not the case.  I wanted the banana...the whole one.  Then we played and took a bath.  I really like to splash in the bath.  Mommy closes the doors on the tub and I splash and kick away while she watches and stays dry! I sometimes get her wet though.

Time to snooze...I slept the whole night last night...no whining or coughing!

Turkey crafts!

Olivia slept better last night.  I only had to go in her room once around 9ish.  I heard her whine about 10 but then she fell back asleep.  I slept a bit better too last night.  Work went ok with my little to no voice...the children can adapt well to it. Today at school was the grandparent lunch.  It was so sweet to see all the grandparents come in to have lunch with their grandchildren.

Olivia was supposed to have turkey at Susan's house today but some other mommies weren't feeling well so she is going to do it another time.  But we came home with a bunch of crafts from her house today and a super sweet hat.  I love crafts!

Tonight was also our last fall Kindermusik session.  We are very sad but will see Ms. Dana in January! We have such a fun time at class! Thank goodness we have instruments and cds at home to keep us entertained.

Another day off!

I can say that I needed to have today off or else I would have called in sick.  Malissa needs me to work all day Friday so I got today off and boy am I glad.  I had no voice at all.  I tried to talk as little as possible which is REALLY hard when you have stuff to say!

Olivia woke 3 times last night.  Twice right away so I rocked her for quite a bit and then she fell asleep. Then she woke up about 2:30 and I rocked with her until about 3:15.  I still did not get the best sleep last night so I am hoping for better tonight.  Olivia woke about 7:30ish.  Brendon and I decided that we would go out for breakfast to Chic-fil-a since we never have time to go. I got to see Olivia feed Jake this morning.  She did a great job! She brought his bowl right to him.  She also says, "Good morning" to him! Olivia ate just a little bit at home and ate a little bit while we were out for breakfast.  We also went to Wal-Mart and I have to say it was quite peaceful in there...the holiday madness hasn't started there yet.

When we got home we had coffee and Olivia and I both napped.  Then we got ready and had lunch.  Then Olivia and I went to Gymboree and Brendon went to work.  Before he left Olivia said, "Bye Daddy! Love you!!" It was so sweet.  Olivia and I did a craft at Gymboree today before class.  Then we saw lots of our friends at class.  Then we came home and did the usual.  The cough sounds better and we have to do 3 treatments a day until it is gone.  She didn't cough too much today at all.  I hope it goes away soon though!

Now mommy has the cough...grrrrr

I thought I outsmarted Olivia last night.  After her whining- 6 times...I got my workout going up and down the stairs last night. I gave up about 9:40ish and raised the white flag to her and decided to head up to bed.  I thought I could outsmart her by just staying upstairs instead of running up and down the stairs.  Well she outsmarted me.  She didn't wake up anymore but instead I started coughing about an hour after I went upstairs! Grrrr....I was so mad.  Then I just slept awful...this is the 3rd night in a row of awful interrupted sleep! Tonight I would like to sleep.

Brendon had Olivia all day since I stayed for a meeting.  He said she did good today with her medicine.  Her coughing has decreased A LOT.  Tomorrow we can go down to 3 breathing treatments a day! I think I heard her cough 3 times tonight.  Last night she only coughed once during the night.  Brendon and Olivia went to Gymboree and did some shopping.  Then they took a special trip to the vet for Jake to have his annual check up! What a fun day for them.  I definitely missed them both when I got home and by that time I had lost my voice.  Lovely...I have never lost my voice this much.  It is super annoying.

Well Olivia is whining already.  I am trying to see if she will stop on her own...but I guess not!

A Bit Better

Olivia was a bit better last night.  She did good in her crib until about 11:00 p.m. then was up doing the whiny thing. So I took her in our room and in the recliner.  About 1:30 I put her back in the crib and I heard her cough once and she slept until her regular time.

I was exhausted this morning.  But I got up and went to work.  I couldn't wait for my pumpkin spice coffee.

When I got home from work it was super nice outside.  I took Olivia outside for a bit.  She was one happy girl.  She loved the wind and the leaves.  She rode her horsey in the driveway and grass.  We even took a walk to the neighbors to see them.

Olivia seemed fine today.  A few bouts of coughing but nothing too bad.  She didn't cough at all when she napped.  We already had one whiny incident already...I am trying to get all my stuff done so if I get interrupted I can do things in parts to get them all done. I am hoping NOT to sleep in the recliner tonight!

Baby time!

Medicine- Ready, Set, Go

What a rough night! Olivia whined off and on last night until I finally went and got her.  I took her to our room which has a recliner in it.  We watched a few minutes of football which didn't help because then she started talking.  Then we turned the lights off and laid down  on the recliner.  It was nice because she was more upright than her crib.  She talked and talked and talked. I think she said every word she knows and every person she knows.  Eventually I stopped talking because that wasn't helping the situation.  Finally she conked out.

She slept pretty well... I on the other hand was not comfortable and I didn't just want to leave her in the chair.  Finally about 1ish I put her in her crib.  The last time she coughed was about 11:30 p.m.  She slept until about 6 and then started coughing.  I went and got her and changed her diaper and rocked with her.  I was in and out of sleep and eventually woke Brendon up so I could get some sleep.  I slept until after 8 and when I came down Olivia already had her medicine, breathing treatment and breakfast.

Olivia played off and on and coughed a little bit here and there.  The most fun was when Brendon went outside and pressure washed the back of the house. She thought it was raining.  Then I told her he was washing.  Then we saw some spiders.  But it was entertaining for her.

She ate a pretty good lunch and took a good nap...so good I had to wake her up about 4:40ish.  She had a snack, played, ate dinner, and then we Skyped with Grandma and Grandpa.  She told Grandpa that he had stinky feet.

She is doing well with the breathing treatments.  Olivia even started saying medicine and ready, set, go when I turn on the machine.  She even started saying ready, set, go on her little car!

I hope she sleeps well tonight and feels even better tomorrow! I know we are all tired!!

Sorry no pictures today =( We will do better tomorrow!
