So cold!!

Oh my goodness...where did Fall go?  It is WINTER today!! So cold.  It was nice to have some warm coffee on the way to work!

After work today Olivia and I snuggled under blankets, watched a movie, and had hot chocolate!

Can't wait to have coffee tomorrow morning...lots of flavors to choose from!

Tricycle Ride

FINALLY we got Olivia to ride her tricycle and her feet touch the pedals and she can pedal! Big moment! Hopefully she will keep riding it! Feels like we have had the thing forever and have been waiting for those legs to grow!!!

Questions

Olivia is the queen of questions!

The last question before bed: Why does Home Depot have Christmas stuff all the time?

There are some questions that I can answer, there are some questions I try to make understandable for her, and there are questions that I cannot answer!

We saw a bad car wreck on the way home today and had to turn around and take a different way home.  Well that brought on a gazillion questions! I was so thankful that she didn't cry since we had to wait in traffic, turn around, got lost for like 3 minutes, and then finally found a way home.  Thankfully she said close to a gas station, "I gotta go potty!"

But her questions show me that she is thinking about EVERYTHING! Which is good because I want her to be curious and think!

Bike Race and Baby Shower Weekend

Brendon had a bike race on Saturday and Olivia and I had the day to ourselves.  We had breakfast, did some cleaning, had lunch, rested and then we went out to eat.  It was fun having a dinner out with my girl!  Brendon had a not so good bike race....someone got stitches, there was a bee sting, super hard course, and bad traffic on the way home!

Sunday we went to a baby shower for our friends Mark and Michelle.  They are having a sweet baby girl in January.  Olivia was very excited about helping me with shower things- making the diaper cake, cupcakes and putting the present together.  She alss had some very interesting questions- When does Emeri Kate come out of Michelle's tummy?, Who is going to blow out the candles at the shower?, Why won't Emeri Kate be there?  So very confusing for a 3 1/2 year old but really cute at the same time!
