Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

Today is my mommy and daddy's anniversary. Boy oh boy am I glad they got married. Happy Anniversary- I really tried to be a good girl today!

Today I got up really early at 7:15. Mom and I decided to have pajama morning. We stayed in our pj's for awhile and had breakfast. Then we got ready and we went to the farmer's market with daddy. We had a good time and got some good snacks. Then when we got home I ate and played and the finally took a nap. When I was napping Grandma and Grandpa Barth arrived. When I woke up and after I ate I spent some time with them. Then we all went to dinner and I was a good girl until the end of dinner and mommy had to leave the table with me because I started crying! I think I was just tired and a little sweaty.

But thank you mommy and daddy for getting married 7 years ago!

Today is my grandma's birthday!! Happy Birthday Grandma!! We hope you have a great birthday!!!

Yesterday Olivia enjoyed her tummy time and she can now scoot in a complete circle on her tummy.

Fussy Girl

Well I wasn't on my best behavior today I will admit that! Mommy took me to get my 3 month pictures done. I was good for probably the first 25-30 minutes and then I just pitched a fit. Mommy put me in this polka dot dress and I just wasn't in the mood anymore. Mommy hopes that we got some cute pics before all the crying.

We then stopped at mommy's friend Michele's house and visited with her and her twins. I was so fussed out I just slept on mommy while they visited with each other. After Michele's house we came home and I ate like a champ. Mommy and I played and I did a little bit more fussing. Then I napped!

After I napped I ate again and mommy and I played. We then went in my room and sang songs and went in the swing. Then I started fussing again. Mommy took my temperature because she thought I felt warm- I was 99.2 which is ok. She gave me a quick bath to feel better and she tried to feed me but I didn't want to eat. Mommy hopes that I am not getting sick!

To Peachtree or Not to Peachtree...

That is the BIG question. Ugh I don't know where to begin on making this decision. I signed up in March and got selected to run the Peachtree- thinking that I would be able to do it. Mind you the last race I ran was the Peachtree last year. I decided last year to stop running in July to see if that was preventing us from becoming pregnant. It was one of the hardest decisions I made but it was well worth it. I cried over quitting running because it is not just the physical part of running that I enjoy but it is the friendships that I made through running and a mental break from life- it gives me an outlet to clear my mind. I miss all the parts of running so much- the feel of the sneakers, crossing the finish line, cheering on others, and laughing with friends. So I started training once my 6 weeks were up and it has been hard but I have to say my body remembers how to run. As of last week my training program (Couch to 10K) had me running 2.5 miles for 4 days and I was shocked that I could do that. So I have about 2.5 weeks to get ready. I have not come anywhere close to running 6 miles but hopefully in the next few weeks I will get there. So I made my decision today once my number came. It is so exciting to get that packet in the mail!!

I am going to run- ok try to run the Peachtree. I may not have the great time of 56:29 of last year but I am going to put in a good effort. So pray for me! And as always- I hope I have a good race and a safe race.

Big Girl Seat

Mommy put the big girl seat together today and she let me sit in it. I felt so tall in it and I could see so much stuff.

Mommy said we are going to practice sitting in the seat because hopefully at 4 months we will start some solids. I did good in the seat today until I went poop! Mommy was a little mad that I went poop in my big girl seat but oh well it is just part of life! When you gotta go you gotta go!

My first date at 12 weeks old

Today I had my date with Karson. We were both on our best behavior. I did a little sleeping and snuggled with Mrs. Ergle and Karson slept most of the time. What a date!! I love Karson already!

Olivia had another great day. She is slowly discovering her hands. We like to call it a hand sandwich when she sucks on her hands.
