Rainy Saturday

Rainy day today.  I ran this morning...even in the rain.  Then stopped and got gas and ran to Wal-Mart.  Wal-mart is quite peaceful at 8:45 a.m.  Got my stuff I needed for school and was in and out.  I didn't realize until later I forgot a bag...booo!!!! So I went back this afternoon.  It was cool again today so I got up in the attic to look for some school things.  Brendon went up there first to patch some holes where bees were getting in and possibly a squirrel.  (A few years ago I thought I heard something up there...but Brendon thought I was crazy).

After dinner it wasn't raining too hard so we put on our rain boots and played outside!

Feeling like November in August

Today the temperature felt like it would in November...the high was 67 or something like that.  It was chilly.  So chilly Olivia wore pants today.  After dinner when we played outside we both wore sweatshirts!

Olivia and daddy went shopping this morning.  They had fun.  Olivia told me they went to PDS which was really CVS.  She said they bought toilet paper there.  Olivia insisted that it was NOT nap time this afternoon but that little bugger slept for 2 hours...so much for it NOT being nap time! I got a little bit of school stuff done but still have a mountain to do...of to start on it.

Tired Thursday

Oh Thursday...you are not my favorite day.  Starting at 5 a.m. makes some tried people in this house.  Olivia fell asleep on the way home from Susan's so that made nap time difficult.  I wanted to take a 10 minutes snooze too...well... we ended up in the spare bedroom and fell asleep.  My plan was to sleep for 10 minutes then do my school work upstairs so I could still see and hear her.  Well guess what...an hour and 15 minutes later I woke up and Olivia was still snoozing.  I guess I was tired! Needless to say I have a boat load of things to get done.

We had a good night and dinner she ate! Then she pooped in her pants...lovely! We played outside after dinner and it was cool so we had to wear our sweatshirts.  We had fun though and even saw our neighbors for a few minutes.  Olivia even has some pants on for jammies tonight since it is so cool.  She was not a fan of wearing them but then was ok.  Oh Friday I can't wait to sleep in until 5:40 a.m. =)

Busy Wednesday

Olivia had a busy day today...

1. Practice fishing in the house

2. Walk in the woods with daddy...I heard all about the walk when I got home. They were looking for deer, raccoons, squirrels...saw some big trees and the moss.
3. Help plant seeds for the fall vegetables.

4. Eat lunch with mommy and play.
5. Take a nap...even though it was brief.
6. Have a snack and get ready for Gymboree.
7. Eat dinner at mall...it was just us today.
8. Go to Gymboree...
9. Leave Gymboree early because Olivia had 2 accidents while we were there because she is being stubborn about going potty.  I only had one extra pair of shorts...lots of undies...just one pair of shorts.  She was sad when we left because she didn't get a stamp...well you don't get a stamp if you pee your pants have to leave early!
10. Continue being stubborn at home about going potty....

Rough Tuesday

Brendon had a late night at work...which made his 16 hour day even longer.  He was tired today.  Olivia wasn't her best with going to the potty either...I thought we were on the right track.  She did ok with me tonight...a pee accident and a little poop accident...I know... TMI.

I had a meeting at work so at least Brendon got a little nap this afternoon.  Olivia was really fussy when I got home.  She cried about everything.  But she ate a good dinner and we played outside for a few minutes after dinner.  So at least we ended the day happy!

Big Girls Read in Bed

It was an early Monday for us...Brendon worked so we all got up early.  I took Olivia to Susan's and she had a great day! She only got pee pee on one pair of underwear but that was only because her pants weren't pulled off all the way! AND she stayed dry at home!! So maybe this whole potty training thing is starting to kick in!!

After Susan's we stopped at Target and got a new humidifier for her room.  Then Olivia fell asleep for literally 10 minutes or less on the way home.  Well that was a disaster when we got home...she didn't want to nap this afternoon.  So we had a long afternoon...but she went to bed early! While trying to get her to nap she insisted that she have a book in her bed.  She said, "Big girls read in bed."  So what did we do tonight, we read a book while she was in bed...so cute!

Broccoli

Olivia is probably one of the many picky eaters that exist in this world.  She doesn't like pizza, chicken nuggets (maybe one or two bites with ranch dip, etc. etc. the list can go on.  But what does she love now... broccoli.  Kids hate broccoli but she loves it.  In fact that is what she had for dinner...broccoli with some cheese on it and 4 bites of chicken...she wouldn't eat the mashed potatoes...what kid doesn't like mashed potatoes...ours!

We also had almost 2 days of no potty accidents.  Yesterday she did great...today almost accident free until 7:10 p.m and then she peed her pants twice...I guess she had to make up for it though because she pooped in the potty! So I would rather have poop in the potty then poop in the pants!
