Girl with the Orange Balloon, Cookies, and a Campfire

This morning Olivia and I went to buy some birthday party supplies and order some balloons.  Of course she wanted a balloon at the party store and they were nice enough to give us an orange balloon.  So the orange balloon has gone everywhere today.  We played outside with it, showed our neighbors it, and played with it inside.  And then we played with bubbles...which got spilled...

After rest time we made some cookies...

Then after dinner we had a campfire!

Shopping and Basketball Game

Olivia and daddy did their usual shopping trip today and got their groceries.  Meal times still took forever today!! Not sure if it is the molar coming in or the runny nose she has.  She is favoring her left side when chewing so I know it has to be sore on the right side.  But she had a good nap and we had pancakes for dinner.  Then we went to my school's Relay for Life basketball game.  Olivia helped selling snacks.  She did a good job until she had an accident and peed her pants! Grrr....thankfully I put ONE spare set of clothes in my purse since Brendon left the diaper bag in his truck.  Then she was fine.  She was very excited about the game.  It was a little loud in there so we didn't stay too long but she had fun! Then we had a late bed time...I am pretty tired too!

Challenging Day

When I got home from work today Brendon said their morning had been quite challenging.  The runny nose was worse (still clear and no fever) and couple that with several potty accidents and a poop accident. Plus Olivia was the slowest eater today.  Lunch took almost an hour and dinner wasn't any shorter.  It didn't help that every 5 seconds Olivia needed a tissue and she was chewing slower than a snail.

Hoping tomorrow she feels better =)

Feeling Bad

Poor Olivia.  I guess the runny nose that goes with getting teeth finally caught up with us.  She was sneezing some yesterday and more today and then started with a runny nose this afternoon- plus the pollen count has started already.  No fever...but she did throw up.  Trying to get this poor girl to poop is insanity all in itself.  So she got all worked up about not pooping and then threw up! But she has seemed fine besides the runny nose.  I felt awful for trying to get her to poop...but she is so stubborn about it! But I felt horrible for trying to make her poop...she will poop when she is good and ready...hopefully tomorrow...

Saturday

Today when I asked Olivia some questions her answers were..."Let's do that on Saturday."  I kept telling her that is a long ways away...4 days.  I told her well we can do some things tomorrow...no Saturday.  We can go poop on the potty today...no Saturday.  So we will see what really happens on Saturday....she may just be disappointed!

Gymnastics

Tonight daddy got to come to gymnastics! Olivia didn't want him to come in (plus they only allow one parent on the floor). So he waited in the lobby and watched us and took some pictures.  Olivia did really well and followed most of the teacher's directions.  She went high up on the bars today and did the spider all by herself! So proud of her and she really LOVES going!

Waiting for class to start

Beautiful Sunday

Gorgeous day today!

We met some friends at the park and played and had lunch.  Olivia tried the big girl swing...now we need to work on pumping her legs.  She did the teeter totter and went down lots of slides today.  Then we had lunch and played a bit more.

After lunch we came home for rest time and I went for a run.  It was a bad run...I was sore from yesterday...mostly my ankles but then at about 4 miles everything hurt.  So I did more of a walk and run so I won't hurt even worse tomorrow!

Best thing that happened today was Olivia ate her whole dinner! She ate pork tenderloin, green beans, and mashed potatoes...she still does not like the potatoes but ate them anyways! Then she got a cookie! So proud of her!
