Impromptu campfire

We had a busy Saturday! We went to dance class this morning.  Olivia did some dancing...us mommies left the room for a few minutes and all I saw Olivia do is the jump when the teacher got to it.  But she loves going. Then we came home and had lunch with the Dawgs...but they lost today.

Then it was nap time and crabby time after.  Brendon took her outside while I made some pumpkin zucchini bread which turned out really good and a chicken pot pie for dinner. 

We had an impromptu visit with the neighbors at their campfire and had fun.  Olivia went in her jammies and ate her snack there. It was fun!

We went to Wal-Mart AND Kroger!

Today when I got home from work Brendon was unloading all the grocery bags from his truck.  I opened the door to where Olivia was sitting and the first thing she said was, "We went to Wal-Mart AND Kroger!" She loves shopping with us.

We ate lunch together and had rest time.  Then she was super crabby when she woke up.  I think she laid on the floor in the living room refusing to do anything for about 20 minutes.  So that was fun.  But she ate dinner and then we did lots of drawing upstairs.  I will have to take some pictures of her art work...they were pretty good.  Of course since it is Friday we watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown...her favorite.

Go, Go, Go

Today was a busy day.  Thursdays are usually busy anyways but it was busy today. I had to work the afternoon today so Olivia went to Susan's a bit later.  I squeezed in a run, shower, and made dinner before I left for work.  I felt like Supermom!! Then went to work.  Then zoomed to pick up Olivia, then zoom home to let out Jake.  We were home about 10 minutes and the we zoomed off to Kindermusik.  So it has been a busy, busy day!!

Olivia got a special book from her friend Joe! It is so cute.  It si an ABC book but has her name and our last name all through the book! She loved it!

Yardwork and Gymboree

Daddy put Olivia to work today.  We have lots of leaves down so Olivia helped with her rake and wheelbarrow! She is such a good helper! I hope she likes to help in the future.

After Olivia's nap (YES she napped today!!) she was quite crabby! I didn't even think we would make it to Gymboree....but we did.  It was so good to see Lauren and Griffin! We haven't been to Gymboree on Wednesday in forever.  I have missed our dinner dates!  After dinner we took the kids to the fountain which is colored pink for Breast Cancer awareness.  It was really cool.  When the fountain was low it was loud.  Both kids loved it and didn't want to leave!

What to do one someone doesn't nap

This is the 2nd day in a row of no nap! Ahhh...I may just lose my sanity a bit.  She took about a 20 minute cat nap on the way home from Susan's house....I should have known that this would be her nap.  Usually I can get her back down at home but not today.  She stayed in her room for quite a bit and was quiet but not sleeping.  Eventually she came down about an hour later.  Since it was so nice today I was like...we gotta get out.  So we went to Tribble Mill Park for a but.  We went for a walk.  She looks like a giant now in her stroller and boy she is heavy to push! So we walked for a bit then went to the playground. It was fun and the perfect day for some park time. Now I hope she naps tomorrow...we shall see...

No Nap and Crafts

Poor Brendon had a busy morning.  I thought I turned on the ice maker before I left for school and by the time he woke up and the ice maker went off water was spraying everywhere.  So he had to clean that up! Then Olivia and Brendon went to Gymboree and did a few errands.  I tried to help when I got home by taking the trash and recycling out.  I knew he wanted to leave for work and that would help save him some time.

I am not sure if Olivia napped today.  Eventually I just left her in the room...and about 45 minutes she came downstairs.  I had the monitor on but didn't hear anything from her...just a few thumps on the ceiling....probably jumping on her bed! But she was pretty happy for not napping! She ate really good and even drank more apple cider! The stars and planets must aligned yesterday for her to try something new.  We have tried juice several times but she doesn't like it....this is the first thing besides water and milk she likes! So she had some with lunch today!

After dinner Olivia's new thing is crafts.  She loves the foam stickers and tonight I busted out some pumpkins and glitter glue.  Our items are drying so I will have to get a picture tomorrow.  But she just loves making things! She is very focused and concentrates!

A fun day at the park

This morning we met our friends Emma and Emily at the Loganville toddler park.  It was super nice today! Lots of sunshine and a bit of a breeze.  We played for a bit and then had a picnic lunch and then played some more! It was a good time.  I enjoyed the sunshine and seeing friends! I have felt trapped in the house for the past month so it was good to get out!

Then we came home and napped! Then after napping we relaxed and played and then played outside some more! After dinner we did more stickers and made another picture.  By one of the ghosts I wrote boo! and she copied it! She made 2 Os and a B! Wahoo!

We had a great Sunny day!
