G Day 2013

This morning Mema and Pepa left to go back to NY.  We were all very sad.  I don't think Olivia realized that when they left for the airport, they were not coming back.  She asked about Mema a few times today and on the way to brush her teeth tonight she told me that Pepa's jacket wasn't there and his shoes were all gone.  We had such a great time when they were here!

This afternoon we went to Athens to the UGA spring football game- G Day.  It is free so that is even better.  We got there a bit late which is fine since we knew we probably wouldn't stay the whole game anyways! Olivia did a good job walking until she fell on the side walk and got a little boo boo on her knee =( We sat in the shade since it was a bit warmer today.  We saw the 2nd quarter, half time, and the 3rd quarter.  Olivia enjoyed the game! She liked the band and the football.  Then we went down to the Hedges and then left.  Then we went fo some frozen yogurt.  Downtown Athens was REALLY busy today! But we had fun!

Olivia's 1st catch

Today Olivia, Brendon, Mema and Pepa had a fishing adventure.  The fish have been biting at our neighbor's pond so Brendon wanted to take Olivia to try fishing there again.  Today there was great success!! They caught 2 fish! Olivia was so excited and helped reel it in! She had such a great time!!

Then we went out to dinner at Summits.  Olivia ate some mac and cheese, corn dogs, and zucchini. Then we came home and played outside for a few minutes!

Day with Mema and Pepa

Today I spent most of the day with Mema and Pepa.  Mommy and Daddy had to work.  So Mema and Pepa babysat me.  They were great.  We ate breakfast, made cookies, played Little People, we had such a fun day.  I was a very good girl and didn't cry at all with them.  Then mommy came home and we took Mema to Kindermusik.  We had a fun time.  Then I got a little crabby when we got home.  I ate almost a whole tortilla and some taco and one of the cookies we made.  I was still crabby so mommy put me in the wheelbarrow and took me for a ride.  Then I took lamby for a ride and then I decided to climb in it myself.  I did tip it over...but I am ok.  I have to be careful!

Home repair day

Today there was lots of fun at home.  The air conditioner guy came and Olivia loved his dogs in his truck.  Brendon got some advice from him about our hot water heater and Brendon and Bill decided to replace that today.  The ac man said it would take 45 minutes...well it took about 4 hours.  But now we have LOTS of hot water! After Olivia's nap we went out for pizza! Yummy! Then we came home for dessert and playing.

Yellow River Game Ranch and a Walk in the woods

Today we took a trip to the Yellow River Game Ranch.  We took Olivia there last year on her birthday but she wasn't walking yet.  This year was so much better.  When we got there the roosters were crowing! Olivia thought they were funny.  We bought some crackers to feed the animals.  We stopped at the deer and Olivia loved feeding them.  We saw lots of animals- bears, bobcats, burros, peacocks, ducks, chickens, pigs, rabbits! Olivia loved it.  She was a little afraid of some of the animals but most of the time she liked walking around and seeing the animals.

After the game ranch we went for lunch at Bill's favorite place Sonic! We had a great lunch outside!

Then we came home and played outside for a bit and then it was nap time.  After her nap we went for a walk in the woods! What a fun day we had!

Braves Opener 2013

This is going to be short and sweet since it is late...and literally the first time I have had a chance to sit down today!

It was a success for us... we made it to the 6th inning and had a great time!

I have some pictures from Gymboree this morning but I will have to post those later! I'm tired!!

Happy Easter 2013!

The Easter Beagle arrived and we had a great Easter.  We got up early and went to church! Olivia did great at church except when she decided to tell everyone around us that she went pee pee at church.  At least we got a giggle out of some people.  Talk about embarrassing though.  Then we came home for some brunch and play time.  Then Olivia had lunch and played some more.  Olivia and Mema played in the sandbox.  Then Pepa did bubbles and walked around the yard checking out the Easter eggs Brendon put in the tree.  Then it was nap time while we got Easter dinner ready.  Rick and Kristy came over and ate with us.  Brendon made a great fried turkey.  I made some homemade mac and cheese, squash casserole, green beans, and my mom made a salad and her famous cream puffs! We had a great day!
