Yipee for Kristy!

We are so happy, proud, and excited for our neighbor Kristy. She is graduating high school today. It seems like yesterday we just moved into our house and were meeting our neighbors. As Shawn said it best, "We have watched them grow up." When we moved into our house Kristy was finishing 5th grade and Shawn was finishing 2nd grade. Time really does fly.

Kristy- we are so proud of you. You have grown to be such an incredible woman. We wish you the best in the future!

Tummy Time

I am getting so good with my tummy time and lifting my head. Here are some close ups of me trying to lift my head. I have even started to push up on my arms.

Wednesdays with Mommy

Wednesdays are Mommy and me days! Daddy works all day those days. So mommy is solo. Each Wednesday we try to go somewhere special. Last week we went to mommy's school. I slept most of the time. I started crying/screaming only once. I got to meet mommy's students.

This past Wednesday we went to mommy's old school- Harbins ES. We visited with lots of people. Of course I slept the whole time. I just like to fall asleep in my car seat in the car and then it is so comfortable I just continue to sleep. Mommy was happy to see lots of her friends!

8 Weeks Old

Olivia is 8 weeks old. We cannot believe how big she is getting and how much she is changing. We go next Monday for her 2 month check up. We tried Olivia in her Bumbo Seat yesterday and she kind of liked it. But here she is sitting up supported. It was pretty chilly today so she wore pants and long sleeves and she is finally starting to fit into some clothes!

Growth Spurt

We think that Olivia is having a growth spurt- all the books say she was supposed to have it at 6 weeks...well not Olivia. She has not wanted to go to bed this past week and is taking an extra feeding every night. Hopefully she will get through this spurt and want to go to bed like she was at 7:00 or 7:30- this 9:30- 10:00 stuff is wearing us out!

I met a friend!

On Saturday mommy took me to Dawn's baby shower. We are so excited for Dawn because she is having a girl too! We can't wait for Peyton to arrive. While at the shower Dawn's friend Ginny brought her baby too! I met my first friend. Her name is Reagan. I thought I had a lot of hair but Reagan blows me away in the hair department. Reagan is 3 weeks older than me. I basically slept the whole time so I was a good girl.
