Bike Race

Today Brendon had a bike race in Conyers so we went to visit him.  We ate lunch and then stayed and played.  Olivia and Ms. Nancy had some fun drawing with markers and coloring.  Olivia was such a good girl but she was a hot mess when she got home.  Made lots of messes, wouldn't eat dinner, and said no like 1,000 times...it was pretty frustrating...I think she was just tired from all the fun.

Trouble

Olivia got in trouble for the first time with Susan.  She had to go to time out.  I am mortified as a mom.  I am so sad that she made the bad choice to throw Play- Doh on the floor.  She knows better than that.  I could tell she was sad too...she hid when Susan told me.  Olivia also gave us lots of fuss and trouble at home.  She was not being a good listener and she peed her pants FOUR times! We are so not happy at the moment! Tomorrow is a new day...let see if it is any better.

Windy

Whoa it is windy out there.  It rained this morning, then got windy this afternoon and it is supposed to drop below freezing...it was 70 degrees this afternoon.  Gotta love the temperature changes.  Olivia had dance class today and did great.  I still had to walk her down the hallway but as soon as she gets to the room she is fine.  Then she sat well again at the table and ate all of her dinner.  We had some leftover pancakes and on the way home from dance class she said, "I want pancakes for dinner!" I am glad she enjoyed them and is actually requesting food! It is a nice change!

Fishing and Chalk

Gorgeous day today! Felt like summer...too bad it is supposed to be cold and rainy again.  Olivia and daddy went fishing this morning.  They had a great time.  Olivia helped looked for worms and they caught one fish! We played outside after lunch and then after nap.  Dinner went much better today...the past few days she just doesn't want to sit down...so we bust out the piece of the high chair that hooks to our chairs and I strapped her in...she actually kind of enjoyed sitting there! But she didn't complain once and ate her dinner.  During her bath I discovered the first tick of the year...gross...hate ticks! It was behind her ear but in her hair line.  She sat really still and I got it out and she didn't even cry.  Those curls are so cute but looks like we are going to look close at her scalp a lot! Gross...I hate those darn ticks!

A Mess

Olivia and her daddy had lots of fun working on my truck today while I was at work.  We had lunch and then tried to lay down for a rest...then she started coughing...and was out of bed by 3.  So basically no nap again.  So we played and played.  I went upstairs for 30 seconds to get something out of the freezer and came back to this...

A big ol' mess! She literally dumped every single little flash card out on the ground.  Then it turned into a teachable moment...we sorted them and put them in bags.  But what a mess!! Then she made a mess at dinner...dumped her milk...again...this is like the 2nd or 3rd time in the past few days...may have to go back to milk with lids!

But we did have fun at gymnastics tonight! She has no fear that child! Scary but good at the same time!

Daylight Savings Time = No Nap

So our schedule was a little off today...I am blaming it on Olivia having a cough, daylight savings time, and lots to do.  So Olivia woke up at 7:40 (which really is 6:40) and then coughed...and coughed.  Needless to say we didn't go to church due to the coughing.  Then we ate breakfast and I zoomed off to a big consignment sale.  I am glad I went.  I got Olivia some games, leotards for dance and gymnastics, and a few items of clothes.  Then I zoomed home and went for a run.  Olivia was supposed to go down for an early nap since we were getting her pictures done today.  Well when I got home from running...she was reading books in her glider in her room, which meant no nap.  Well she did take a nap 5 minutes in the car before we got to the picture spot! She was not the most cooperative at pictures but I am sure they will be great.  I could tell she was really tired tonight so hopefully she will sleep good tonight!
