Olivia at Gymboree

Super Family Saturday

Finally Brendon had off today.  We went as a family to Gymboree today.  We were so sad that no one else came to our class today! But we had all of Gymboree to ourselves! We played on all the equipment, had bubbles, and played with Gymbo.  Then we came home and watched the Georgia vs. Florida game. After a very sloppy game, we won!! I was such a happy girl this afternoon and was just babbling away.  It was such a fun day to spend as a family.

WARNING- Lots of pictures from today!

Finally...a little break

Finally last night Brendon came home early from his 12 hour shift.  It allowed everyone to get a little extra sleep this morning and for me to get some errands done.  I was able to order Olivia's cake for her Baptism next week, get some decorations, and grocery shop.  Hopefully tomorrow we all get to sleep in a little bit- even if that means sleeping until 7:00 a.m. That is now sleeping in at this house.

We are still battling the sniffles.  Tonight I even tried the saline spray to see if that will help.  Hopefully they will go away soon!

Today was a gorgeous day so we all sat outside on the upstairs porch for a bit.  Tonight Olivia and I were in her room and she army crawled - I don't know what else to call it to her book shelf.  Then I got her to army crawl all the way from her bedroom to the bathroom tonight for her to get her bath.  She was so excited and happy.  Also the past 3 nights when I blow dry her hair she has started putting her hands on my legs and boosting herself up.  I attempted to show Brendon this afternoon but it isn't as good as bath time.

Tomorrow is Gymboree and the Georgia/Florida game! Go DAWGS!!

This morning- chomping on my mat...yummmm

Sweet Baby Girl

Today Olivia was such a sweet baby girl.  I think she knows that daddy is very tired when he gets home in the morning.  She actually ended up falling asleep in his arms this morning.  She was still sleeping when I got home from work which allowed me to get some things done since all the craziness of Brendon working so much.  The one funny thing that happened today was I tried to vacuum.  She has never been afraid of the vacuum before... well I guess she is afraid of it now.  She cried and screamed... lets just say that I didn't get much vacuumed! Maybe when I get my new vacuum for Christmas she won't be afraid.

Sweet baby girl....love her so much!

Olivia "crawling"

Sniffle update

Olivia wasn't feeling the greatest last night.  She woke up a few times and I cleared the boogies out of her nose.  We were scheduled anyways to go to the doctor today for a flu shot and they said to still bring her.  She didn't have a fever so she still got the shot.  She was a champ.  She cried for about 10 seconds and stopped.  The nurse told me that I could use some Baby Vicks Vaporub on her chest with some Vaseline.  She also suggested putting a pillow under the crib mattress and elevating one side...duh... I learned 2 new mommy things today.  Also to keep running the humidifier.  So hopefully the sniffles go away soon.  She is still a happy camper though!

Also she weighed 17 pounds and 6.5 ounces.  So since her 6 month appointment she has gained 1 pound and 5 ounces!

Peeking in where all my toys are...

Just too cute!

Caught by Surprise

Today Olivia discovered some new things today.

#1. Olivia got her 1st Halloween Card.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

#2. Olivia discovered the Toys 'R Us toy catalog.  She loved looking at all the toys.

#3. Olivia discovered the gold knobs on our cabinets.  Baby proofing starting really soon!

#4. I was practicing with Olivia something that we do at Gymboree.  At Gymboree they have little steps to practice on.  Usually at Gymboree I put Olivia in the kneeling position and she just bounces up and down and pats the step.  Today we practiced this at home and all of a sudden she pushed up into a standing position.  It caught me by surprise.  I thought it was a fluke and put her in the kneeling position and she did it a few more time.  Of course when I wanted to get it on video she just started making all sorts of racket and wouldn't do it!

Such surprises everyday!

My first Halloween card

Wahoo- TOYS!

Ohhhh... shiny

Let me get a little closer...super shiny

Pushing myself up!

Look what I can do mommy!

I Love My Daddy

Daddy- I love you a whole lot.  Thank you for setting up the blind in the living room today and playing camo life with me.  I loved it.  Mommy and I have missed you a lot lately, but we know that you are working really hard.  We know right now it is not your choice to work and be away from us.  But we will be ok. We love you bunches and miss you!

XOXO

First case of sniffles

Olivia got her first case of the sniffles.  After 7 months it got her.  She woke up several times during the night and this morning every hour.  I slept with her in the glider for awhile. She didn't have a fever though just a runny nose and sneezing.  She was pretty happy though most of the day.  She even got to wear her Falcons cheerleader outfit today for a bit.  Hopefully she will start feeling better soon!

Go Falcons!

YAY! They won!
