G-Day 2014

This was our 3rd year going to G-Day with Olivia.  It is UGA's spring practice game.  It was such a nice day.  It was nice and warm today!! We met up with Ethan and his parents.  We had lunch in Athens at Sweet Peppers and they had some great sandwiches.  Olivia ate pretty great too!!  Then we went over to UGA and parked.  First we walked to the bookstore and bought Olivia a hat.  Then we walked to the stadium and got some seats in the shade.  The kids were really good during the game.  We had to go walk around a little bit but that is pretty normal now.  In the 4th quarter we walked down to the hedges.  Then we had a hot walk back to the car!  But it was a fun day!!

Friday Bubbles

Olivia and I were on our own for the day.  We went to the library and went grocery shopping.  She was really good.  She told ME how to shop since Brendon is usually the one to shop.  Brendon was home for dinner and then we had some after dinner outside time.  We sat on the top deck and Olivia blew bubbles!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday was Brendon's birthday! Olivia and I were very busy on Wednesday making some things for him!

First we did some painting.  I am going to try to find a frame to fit this masterpiece! 

Then we decorated our bedroom door.  Olivia told me all the things she loves about her daddy!

After not napping we went to an early dinner at Hail Mary Pub.  Olivia was really good and ate pretty good too!

 Then we went to the local high school and went to a baseball game.

Haircut, shoes, and park

Today our first stop was to get Olivia a haircut.  She did really good and got about an 1inch or more cut off the back- trust me you can't even tell with all the curls that it is any shorter.  She sat really still in the Barbie jeep and I didn't even cry after seeing all the curls on the floor.  After her haircut we went and got some new shoes.  Her feet are growing and her little sneakers I can tell are getting tight.  After lunch and her nap we met our friends at the park to play and have dinner.  It was fun to see our friends and watch the kids play together.  Ethan and Olivia did a really good job trying to convince Emma to play! Olivia ate spaghetti at the restaurant and was a good girl.  Fun day!

Braves Opener 2014

We continued our family tradition of going to the Braves opener last night.  It was a little chilly and so glad I grabbed a blanket before we went in.  Olivia had a good time.  She liked eating snacks and figured out how to open peanuts! She cheered for Freddie Freeman.  Even though the Braves lost it was a win for a fun family night out!

Rainy Spring Break Day

Olivia had some coughing again last night and I think the worst of it was about 6:30 this morning.  So I brought her in the bed with me.  She sounded pitiful.  I called the doctor when I noticed her left eye was all red, goopy, and just yucky.  We got in before lunch but of course had to wait forever.  So her lungs sounded good and they want to wait a little longer for the meds.  It is a 5 day supply but lasts for 10 days.  So hopefully tonight will be better.  For coughing the doctor told me to keep doing the inhaler and eye drops for her eye.  They were looking better tonight already.  I just hope this doesn't lead to another clogged tear duct =(

It was raining pretty good today so while Olivia napped I cleaned out my closet and did some cleaning.  The the Olivia tornado came through and it didn't look like I cleaned at all.

I really tried to clean out my closet....every time I go in it for something to wear I hate everything in it, BUT when I try to go through it and get rid of stuff I struggle to find stuff to get rid of.  I tried to keep the following motto in mind...

Then I did a bit of Olivia's closet too...pulling out small stuff and sorting it.  I am trying to find some easy ways to organize it better, I am tired of the mess!

Coughing ALL night

It was a long night last night.  Olivia woke up off and on.  Sometimes she didn't even know what she wanted.  At one point she told me she wanted a snack and then changed her mind.  Then she coughed and coughed.  Like me coughing is usually the end of cold if I have one.  I hate that she has this too.  So she kept coughing and finally I brought her into our room and kicked Brendon out and let her sleep in the recliner for the angle.  I had 2 pillows in her bed angled but that wasn't helping since she kept laying on her back and coughing.  So we were all a bit tired today.  We hung around the house since it was supposed to rain.  It didn't rain until after dinner.  It was just gray and cloudy and polleny outside. Everything is covered in yellow pollen...yuck! But Brendon took Olivia for a walk in the woods before dinner.
