Full Moon = No Nap

Well with the full moon Olivia hasn't napped in 2 days... but she has fallen asleep really early but last night she woke up crying 2 times.  The 2nd time she cried last night she said, "Mommy you need to come lay in my bed."  I did for about 45 minutes and then went back to our bed.  But I am pretty tired too so I think I am off to bed soon too!

This is for teachers and parents too...take a nap!

Daddy

Olivia said the cutest thing when we were getting ready for bed.  She looked at me and said, "I want daddy to be home!" It about broke my heart to hear her say that.  I guess she missed him or she ran out of fun with me!  I told her that she would see him in the morning and that they would go to Gymboree.  Her reply then, "Then we will go to the bank and the popcorn store.  Daddy needs to buy more quarters!" I giggled.  After Gymboree last week we stopped at the bank and the popcorn store for a replacement of pumpkin cheesecake popcorn that someone took home on accident (they shall remain nameless but you know who you are!!) Then we gave her the 3 quarters for her piggy bank that were change. So I guess she thinks that is their routine now!

But I know how much Olivia loves her daddy and he loves her so much too!

Right Place, Right Time

I have had this feeling and wrote a bit about it yesterday about feeling like we are in the right place, right time, with the right people.  At this moment I couldn't ask for anything more.  We have been blessed with meeting some wonderful people because of Olivia.  Now we are even more blessed with some great friendships for us too.  But it is great to have friends to laugh with, cry with, and even share some miles of running with! I am quite content with life at the moment and the people in it!

Godparents

Yesterday we woke up to lots of rain and thunder.  Olivia came in our room Friday night about 2:30 scared of the booms.  I had no idea what she was talking about...then I saw the lightning.  There was lots of big rain and booms in the morning and then it finally cleared about 3:00.  Perfect timing because we were leaving to go to Griffin's house!

We had dinner plans with Griffin and his parents.  Olivia and Griffin played very well together.  It is fun to see our kids playing together and talking to each other. They even came up with their own silly secret word.  Too bad Olivia pooped like a million times while we were there.  We knew she had to go ALL day so I guess she saved it for his house (trust me we tried several times ALL day!!).  We had a great dinner (too bad Olivia didn't want to eat much because it was super yummy) and dessert.  After dinner Griffin brought us this sweet note:

We feel blessed and honored to be chosen as Godparents for Griffin! We are so excited to become part of his family and his spiritual journey! We hope that we can be good examples of our faith for him.

Ironically at church today the homily was about baptism which totally was a sign for us that this was meant to be.   I also felt today after running with Caren and Wendy, that the right people are in our life at this time and they are in our lives for the right reasons!
