Like mommy and daddy

Olivia has been wanting to do stuff for us and be like us.

She now likes to start my breakfast...and on the weekend for the family.  Setting the table, getting foods out, getting drinks, she has even tried to start the coffee a few times- Yikes!

On Fridays she likes to make our salads we have with pizza.  Of course we do all the cutting for her. 

She likes to do things with mommy like get her finger nails painted and go on the treadmill!

Also she likes to do stuff with daddy...

Let it snow!

We had our first snow of 2016! It was very exciting.  No school was not canceled...thankfully everything started after school on a Friday this year!!

We had to wait patiently for the snow.  It was very squishy when we went into the grass.  There was enough snow for a few snowballs.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is sneaking up.  Last week my placement preference form was due for her.  I get to recommend 2 teachers for her.  All of our kindergarten teachers at school are so awesome, so it was really hard to choose! I would be happy with any of them!

Games

Olivia loves to play games!  We taught her how to play Uno while camping.  Since it is chilly outside we have played lots of games inside =)

The Class Pet

Olivia has been asking to take the class pet home.  We finally said it was ok.  So Brownie, the guinea pig, visited for the weekend.  I admit I don't like small rodent pets.  I guess I am afraid they will escape.  My worst fear was that the class pet would die when we had him.  No one wants to shoulder the responsibility of that...

Brownie had a good time.  There were a few accidents but overall he was a happy guy and Olivia was a happy girl.  She did very well taking care of him!
