Swim and soccer day!

Today we had a swim and soccer day! This was the next swimming class for Olivia.  She has been a bit nervous in our pool and not showing us what she learned.  I could tell that she was nervous today.    She did everything the teacher asked but I could see that she was not as comfortable as the first week of lessons. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!!

Then we had our last week of soccer tonight.  She had a little "game" tonight and she did much better than last summer.  She was a little aggressive and scored 2 goals! One in the correct goal and one in the wrong goal! But I was so proud of her and all that she learned this summer!

11th wedding anniversary

We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary the night before we left for Buffalo.  As always Brendon had a crazy day at work.  When he got home we cut the grass and then went to dinner at Longhorns.  It was a nice dinner.  Since steel is the traditional gift I got Brendon a Georgia hitch cover that had steel on it while he got me a new steel pan to try in the kitchen.  Hopefully I can make something good with it!

When we were in Buffalo we went to church at the church we got married in.  The man that played the guitar for our wedding was playing the music that mass and his daughter sang with him.  She had a beautiful voice! I admit I got a little teary eyed at church being there.  Such a sweet moment in our life! Can't believe it has been 11 years already.  Plus it was special to bring Olivia there for her to see where we got married too!

Buffalo Trip 2015

We had a fun filled time in Buffalo...here is a recap..

Friday we flew out and it was quite chilly! We had lunch and then went to a carnival.  It was fun! Brendon and I had a little date night that night also!

Saturday we got up and looked for worms for the fishing derby. Too bad we didn't catch anything.  Brendon caught about a 2 inch fish.  Then we stopped at a birthday party, went to the church we were married in, and had some family over!

Sunday (Father's Day) we went to breakfast and visited with Uncle Eric for a bit.  Then we went to Brendon's uncles house for a family gathering.

Monday we just kind of hung around the house and played.  Then we went to Brendon's aunts house to fish! Much better than the fishing derby! Olivia's fishing pole was on fire!

Tuesday Brendon and I did a pretty long bike ride- 8+ miles along the Niagara River.  Then we went to a baseball game! Olivia was on the jumbotron 3 times!

Wednesday we went out for lunch and then to the Carousel museum.  Then we went to dinner with my brother.

Thursday we headed out to Rochester to the Strong Museum of Play.  What an awesome place for kids! After dinner we went for ice cream tonight at Hoover's Dairy...yummy!!

Friday we flew back home! Such a great time.  Lots of laughing and making memories!
