Christmas Eve and Christmas

Christmas Eve was crazy busy with some last minute wrapping, moving presents, and getting ready for Christmas.  We went to 4 pm mass with our neighbors and then they came over to our house for dinner.

I know this picture depicts a plethora of presents but the way the tree is situated you really can only get to presents from one side because it is in the corner...

I think Brendon and I were up way before Olivia.  She finally got up, went to the bathroom, and just went downstairs! We finally called for her and she was kind of upset that Santa already came! But she found a toy and a train set up and all was good.  We made some breakfast and ate and then opened presents.  She was looking for the things she asked for- bean bags, Frozen games, and a new Lamby.  It took a bit to get to them but finally she found them.  She pretty much ripped the paper off...was excited for about 20 seconds and then moved on.  She did a great job passing out presents though! She would read the tags and then pass.  Then we relaxed the rest of the day but we did go outside for a bit!

Very blessed and thankful on this Christmas!

Trip to Florida

This year we made it to Florida as opposed to last year when I had the Flu for a week and then a sinus infection...quarantine for 2 weeks last year was NOT fun!

I escaped the flu this year even though we had TONS of sick kids at school.  Lets just say we went through some hand sanitizer and soap that last week! I already had the sinus infection so I am hoping the meds kept the cooties at bay!

We left Saturday and had a great drive down.  Stopped in Tifton for some lunch!
I dislike having my picture taken while eating...

It was so nice when we got there and we played outside for a bit and after dinner went for a golf cart ride to see Christmas lights.

Sunday we went to Homosassa State Park. We took a short boat ride and then saw lots of animals! Then it started to rain...and it rained the rest of Sunday!

Monday it was nice enough for a boat ride! We looked and looked for gators but finally saw one when we got back to the dock!

While Olivia napped, the girls fished! Then after her rest we made gingerbread houses and had a family dinner.

And the pictures got all out of order from this point on...
