$1 Regal Movie

Yesterday we tried the $1 Regal summer movie program they have for kids.  The movie was Paddington Bear.  We met our friend Griffin there.  The movie was really cute.  It was silly at times and Nicole Kidman was a little scary to Olivia.  She called her the mean lady!!

After the movie we rode the carousel, had lunch and then went to a few stores.  As we were walking, Olivia mentioned her feet hurt.  I thought her feet had grown but wasn't sure...and for sure they did! Her poor little feet were squeezed into her Frozen light up tennis shoes, so we got one new pair of shoes yesterday...a 9 1/2! A fun day...it was a good day to enjoy air conditioning...it was super hot yesterday 93 degrees!

Fireflies

Olivia has asked us a few nights in a row to catch fireflies.  Finally last night we got all prepared for it.  Such a cute moment.  She had her little butterfly net and would catch them and we put them in the jar.  We brought them in the house for a bit.  But after they heard a story and we sang them songs then we released them. We sang them (all Olivia's request) Twinkle, Twinkle (and they lit up!) and then This little light of mine. 

She looks scared but actually was saying "Fireflies" and loved it!

Such a fun moment and we had to catch some again tonight and we saw a bat too!
