No Nap and Crafts

Poor Brendon had a busy morning.  I thought I turned on the ice maker before I left for school and by the time he woke up and the ice maker went off water was spraying everywhere.  So he had to clean that up! Then Olivia and Brendon went to Gymboree and did a few errands.  I tried to help when I got home by taking the trash and recycling out.  I knew he wanted to leave for work and that would help save him some time.

I am not sure if Olivia napped today.  Eventually I just left her in the room...and about 45 minutes she came downstairs.  I had the monitor on but didn't hear anything from her...just a few thumps on the ceiling....probably jumping on her bed! But she was pretty happy for not napping! She ate really good and even drank more apple cider! The stars and planets must aligned yesterday for her to try something new.  We have tried juice several times but she doesn't like it....this is the first thing besides water and milk she likes! So she had some with lunch today!

After dinner Olivia's new thing is crafts.  She loves the foam stickers and tonight I busted out some pumpkins and glitter glue.  Our items are drying so I will have to get a picture tomorrow.  But she just loves making things! She is very focused and concentrates!

A fun day at the park

This morning we met our friends Emma and Emily at the Loganville toddler park.  It was super nice today! Lots of sunshine and a bit of a breeze.  We played for a bit and then had a picnic lunch and then played some more! It was a good time.  I enjoyed the sunshine and seeing friends! I have felt trapped in the house for the past month so it was good to get out!

Then we came home and napped! Then after napping we relaxed and played and then played outside some more! After dinner we did more stickers and made another picture.  By one of the ghosts I wrote boo! and she copied it! She made 2 Os and a B! Wahoo!

We had a great Sunny day!

Doodling this morning.

Back to Running

Today I had my first run since September 7th.  I haven't been able to do an exercise or heavy lifting.  So once I got the news and confirmation that my HcG was less than 1...I finally could go back to exercising! YAY! Not that I gained a ton of weight in these weeks but I gained a good 3 pounds.  It is not the end of the world but still my pants feel a bit snug sometimes.  So I woke up early and got back out there.  I was tempted to put go back to bed but I didn't.  I felt pretty good running and didn't want to over do it, so I only did 3 miles.  I was surprised that I was still about the same pace as I was.  I felt much better after running!  It was a great time to clear my head and was a great stress reliever.

Fun with Olivia

Here is some fun Olivia and I have had...

Kindermusik last night.  Olivia loves the parachute and the wheels on the bus!

Another thing Olivia likes are these foam stickers.  Last week we played with some numbers and counted animals.

We ran out of space for 5 frogs!

Today at Target I found some Halloween themed ones.  First we did white paper and then black!

This one she did all by herself...unpeeled and stucke them on!

Boo!

Less than 1

Got my test results...my HcG count is less than 1.  Hip Hip Hooray! I finally can go back to normal activity.  All those activities that we all take for granted every day I have been wanting to do.  One of the hardest things was not lifting or carrying Olivia.  I admit in the past few days I have picked her up a few times...it is hard not too.  But when I heard that voice mail that said that it was less than 1 I felt like the air had been sucked out of me and a sigh of relief.  Going through an Ectopic pregnancy was not a joyful experience at all.  It has been difficult and emotional.  It also has been serious on my  body and Ectopic pregnancy is a very serious condition and it could have turned out a lot worse but it didn't so I am very grateful for that.  Right now I am just counting my blessings and I am going to enjoy life for a bit!

Thankful

Today I am so thankful for all the people who have gone on this journey with us.  Even though it is a hard and difficult journey, it is filled with people that have helped.  Today I said thank you to some people and it was so great to see their happiness.  It is not often we take time out in our own lives to simply say thank you to those who are helpful.  I said thank you to the nurses at the doctors office and of course my doctor.  I took some time to make them all a special treat and write them a note thanking them for all they have done these past few weeks.  I know I am probably not the easiest patient to deal with, but they have done an incredible job for us.  They were so happy and surprised! I even gave the phlebotomist some snazzy band-aids and some lollypops for those patients that need an extra boost! She was so excited about her band aids! It felt great to say thank you and to see them all so happy! As a society we often forget to say thank you to people and truly mean it and take those words for granted.  Maybe if we all took a little time and thought about others, and less about ourselves we would all be more happy.  I know I was happy when I left the doctor's office and so were they!

Obviously I had more blood drawn today and hope to have my results tomorrow.  Also was able to get an ultrasound squeezed in and it looked like everything was normal! YAY! Olivia was so great while we were there at the doctor's office.

I leave you with this question below and ask you...and is there someone that you could say thank you to?

Tomorrow

I keep thinking about tomorrow today.  I am hoping and praying that it is my last blood draw.  I stumbled upon this quote last week and it has stuck with me and find myself reading it when I am frustrated or just feel I can't get life together at the moment.

I don’t have it in me to do this one more day, I need Your strength.
I don’t have the patience in me for this … I need Your patience.
I can’t think straight right now … I need Your clarity.
I’m not even sure I have love in me right now … I need Your love.

It has helped me to try to get back on track. I can say that I am feeling much better than I have in the past 3 weeks. I am ready to get back to exercising and trying to get back to normal.  The goal for now is to get this body healthy.

Say some prayers that tomorrow is the last blood draw!
