This ain’t about fishin’ and french toast

Since Olivia is now walking we are very excited to do more things with her, especially going fishing. We have been on the hunt for the perfect fishing pole for her and finally found a Barbie one at Target. Believe it or not Wal-Mart was out of the Barbie fishing poles. Today finally Brendon snapped a picture of her with her pole and her first fishing hat! So cute!! We are so excited about taking her soon and creating fun memories with her. As Trace Adkins says-

"I’m lost in her there holdin’ that pink rod and reel
She’s doin’ almost everything but sittin’ still
Talkin’ ‘bout her ballet shoes and training wheels
And her kittens
And she thinks we’re just fishin’"

Then for dinner tonight we went to Nicole's house for French Toast. Nicole is having breakfast for dinner this week which is my favorite. Olivia and Nicole did great. They played and they ate. It was pretty easy eating with them because we did sort of an indoor picnic. The girls loved it!! Then we played for a bit. Such a fun time!!

Another field trip

Its the first day of May but it feels like summer already. Olivia had a good morning with daddy and then this afternoon took a field trip with mommy to work. I admit I was nervous taking her there. There was a last minute faculty meeting called and Kristy was working today so I asked my principal if I could bring Olivia and he said it was ok. I hate that I had to bring her because I don't want any special treatment for working part time and I hate to be a distraction to others. But Olivia was really good and mostly quiet- more quiet than she would probably be in church. I brought some books and snacks and that kept her entertained. She did not nap on the way home so she had a long afternoon. We ate dinner together and then we went outside for a bit. It was hot but fun. She loves to walk up the driveway. I guess she likes the challenge. Tomorrow is Gymboree and then breakfast for dinner! We are excited about the second part!

Last Day of April

Today was another busy day. When mommy got home from work I had lunch with her. Then daddy left to go to work. Mommy and I went to Target and Publix to pick up a few things. I was a good girl in the cart. Mommy got diapers and a few other things. We then went to Publix and she bought some more stuff. We then stopped at Malissa and Karson's house. I had a good time playing with the remotes and laughing at Gus. Karson was sleeping until about 5 minutes before I left but I said hi to him. Then I napped when I got home. Mommy and I ate dinner and then we went to play outside. My Godparents and Shawn came over to see me. I showed off my walking skills. It was still really hot at 6:15 when I was playing. Tomorrow mommy says we have another field trip... she has to bring me to school. I hope I can be a good girl....

Happy Birthday Leonardo from Olivia!

Happy Birthday Leonardo!

This morning I helped daddy water the garden and apple trees. I had fun helping him.

After my nap and lunch we got ready for Leonardo's 1st Birthday Party! After a longish car ride we arrived at the party and got to see all my friends. It was super hot today and the party was outside. I played with all my friends and walked around a lot. I even tried watermelon but would only eat it from Ethan's mom. I even ate some chicken nugget. We sang Happy Birthday to Leo and daddy had some good cake! Leonardo had a really cool cake, his mommy did such a great job on it! We are so happy to celebrate Leo with all our friends. Next week we get to celebrate Nicole's Birthday!

I did not nap at all this afternoon and mommy had to get in the back seat with me on the way home from the party because I was super whiny...I should have just slept....

Then I ate dinner and went in the swing. I was super whiny after my bath but fell right asleep. I think I was hot and tired from all the fun today.
