This morning we went to have Olivia's teeth checked out from her fall yesterday. They actually call it a trauma which makes me feel even worse. Olivia did so good at the dentist. At first she didn't want to sit in the chair but then got in it. They did 2 x-rays and the dentist did some good and thorough checking. They did not wiggle- good sign! On the x-ray I could see the shift in the teeth. Both front teeth did shift but there is no root damage- yay! The dentist said the teeth may discolor but she wasn't sure. Then we need to watch for infection. She said if we notice any pimple like things by the teeth then she has an infection and the tooth would have to be removed. So happy that she is ok! Still scary and hate the word trauma.
She has been fine all day. We were instructed a week of soft foods and no biting into things with the 2 front teeth.
She went to gymnastics tonight and was fine and had fun!
I found this cute video on Brendon's phone...super cute from their date night! I am not sure why it is sideways though!
Olivia is such a courageous kid! It’s nice to know that she did well in her dentist appointment, amidst her initial hesitation. Any updates about the condition of her teeth? I do hope you didn’t have any other trouble with them. By the way, she’s pretty serious about gymnastics, isn’t she? I’m sure she has a future in that field, as long as you continue nourishing her talent and supporting her all the way. Have a great day! :D
