Super Bowl and Gymnastics

Well yesterday the weather here was gorgeous! Talk about a 180 degree switch from Tuesday- Thursday last week. I got out in the afternoon for a nice run with shorts and short sleeves on! Then we got ready and headed to Emily's house.  Olivia had fun playing with her friends and eating dinner with them.  She even ate 1/2 of a strawberry! Wahoo! I think the kids had more fun than any of us watching the super stinky game! We had good food and laughs to keep us entertained though!  We were all pretty tired when we got home!

Tonight we started our first gymnastics class.  For Olivia's age there are 2 classes.  One without a parent and one with a parent.  I opted since it was the first time doing gymnastics to do the with the parent class until she feels comfortable being there and used to the routines.  She actually did pretty well and followed the teacher's directions.  We need to work on our somersaults though! I think those scared her a bit...so we will practice this week! But she swung on the bars and at the end she climbed up into this huge put with foam cubes in it and had fun! I asked her if she had fun at the end and she said, "Yes!"  I will try to get a picture next week but it is kind of hard while moving all the time!
