Rainy Spring Break Day

Olivia had some coughing again last night and I think the worst of it was about 6:30 this morning.  So I brought her in the bed with me.  She sounded pitiful.  I called the doctor when I noticed her left eye was all red, goopy, and just yucky.  We got in before lunch but of course had to wait forever.  So her lungs sounded good and they want to wait a little longer for the meds.  It is a 5 day supply but lasts for 10 days.  So hopefully tonight will be better.  For coughing the doctor told me to keep doing the inhaler and eye drops for her eye.  They were looking better tonight already.  I just hope this doesn't lead to another clogged tear duct =(

It was raining pretty good today so while Olivia napped I cleaned out my closet and did some cleaning.  The the Olivia tornado came through and it didn't look like I cleaned at all.

I really tried to clean out my closet....every time I go in it for something to wear I hate everything in it, BUT when I try to go through it and get rid of stuff I struggle to find stuff to get rid of.  I tried to keep the following motto in mind...

Then I did a bit of Olivia's closet too...pulling out small stuff and sorting it.  I am trying to find some easy ways to organize it better, I am tired of the mess!

Coughing ALL night

It was a long night last night.  Olivia woke up off and on.  Sometimes she didn't even know what she wanted.  At one point she told me she wanted a snack and then changed her mind.  Then she coughed and coughed.  Like me coughing is usually the end of cold if I have one.  I hate that she has this too.  So she kept coughing and finally I brought her into our room and kicked Brendon out and let her sleep in the recliner for the angle.  I had 2 pillows in her bed angled but that wasn't helping since she kept laying on her back and coughing.  So we were all a bit tired today.  We hung around the house since it was supposed to rain.  It didn't rain until after dinner.  It was just gray and cloudy and polleny outside. Everything is covered in yellow pollen...yuck! But Brendon took Olivia for a walk in the woods before dinner.

Olivia woke up feeling much better.  She got up once during the night looking for Snoopy.  He was located and she went back to sleep.  We went to Joe's birthday party this morning for a little bit.  I was a bad mom and didn't bring my camera so no fun pictures.  She wasn't in the happiest mood anyways. 

We came home and she ate a really good lunch and she helped Brendon outside for a few things.  After her nap she was really crabby.  It took some bubble blowing outside to make he much happier. She didn't want much dinner and then had some toast before bed. Hopefully tomorrow she will feel better =)

Kicking off Spring Break....Sick

Olivia woke up from her nap yesterday with a little stuffy nose.  Then she has woken up the past few nights crying...but nothing really wrong. Last night she got up 2 times. One time just crying for a tissue and the other time she had an accident but thankfully didn't pee in the bed.

Brendon took her grocery shopping and she was fine.  She did walk into a display at Walgreens and has a nice red mark on her face! Then he said when they got home and it was lunch time she just wanted to lay in her owl chair.  He finally convinced her to eat in her owl chair but didn't want much to drink.  Then she told him that her ear hurt.  I had to work a full and very busy day at school...so I had no clue about the afternoon stuff until I sat down at 3:30 to shut down my computer and Bren told me to meet them at the doctor's office.  And yep...ear infection.  What a fun way to start Spring Break!! Hopefully once the medicine kicks in she will feel better...she was crabby and stuff tonight from not napping.

I don't want to be growed up

Tonight after Olivia's bath I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up. She looked at me and said, "Mommy!" That melted my heart and then about 2 seconds later she said, "I don't want to be growed up!" I asked her if she wanted to be 3 forever and she replied, "Yes!" So I guess Olivia will be 3 years old forever!

When she does grow up I want her to be happy with whatever she wants to be and we will be proud of her.  We want to give her some good roots but then give her wings to fly. We are proud of her at 3 years old and will be proud of her forever!

No Nap Wednesday

No nap today...I almost thought Olivia was going to fall asleep because she got a blanket and curled up in her chair for a bit this afternoon.  The problem was she needed to poop...TMI...I know but we are always talking about it.  I tried several times before dance class and made her wear a Pull-Up to dance class.  When we got home she immediately said, "Take this diaper off!" So I did and we ate dinner and then finally she went.  Then we went and played outside.  I am thinking she is quite tired tonight!

April 1

It is April already yahoo!! Today was gorgeous.  Brendon had some training today so he was home tonight.  Since it was so nice we both wanted some exercise.  He went to the park first to ride his bike and I was going to meet him after Olivia napped to run.  Well as we are driving into the park I see Brendon walking his bike =( First thought was he got hurt, but thankfully it was a flat tire =(  So we gave him a ride in the back of the truck to the parking lots for him to fix his tire.  Olivia and I went to play on the playground which was kind of crazy since there was a kids race going on.  So there were kids...everywhere.  When Brendon was done biking I went running and he took Olivia fishing.  No luck fishing today though.  They saw a big orange fish most likely a Koi that came from a person leaving it there and a big bass which they think was watching her eggs.  We ate dinner outside and enjoyed some ice cream!
