Crabby Day

Olivia was on the crabby side today.  Mostly just this afternoon.  She only took about an hour nap and then woke up screaming! It took a good 20 minutes to get her settled down.  I could not find anything wrong with her.  I was afraid that we weren't going to make it to Kindermusik today.  I learned today- when all else fails- rocking, singing, swinging...take the girl outside! She immediately stopped crying once I took her outside.  I just walked her on the back porch and then she was fine.  She was not her happy self the rest of the night though.  She was super clingy at Kindermusik and a little whiny.  She cried a little through her dinner too! I think it is the other tooth coming in.  Tomorrow is another day...we hope for a happier day!

Beautiful Day

It was another beautiful day today.  I don't know where winter is but this weather is just fine for me.  I even wore Capri pants today and some shoes with no socks! I took Olivia and we went outside and she went in her swing for a bit.  She loves to look around and babble.  We also think tooth number 2 is coming in- finally! It looks a tad raised next to her other tooth on the bottom and a little white.  Maybe we will see it pop soon! She was chewing on everything- tables, chairs, toys and more drool then usual.  Also today is Uncle Ken's birthday! Hope you have a great 30th birthday!

Bad Hair Day

I had a bad hair day today.  It was just a mess! It got even worse after my afternoon nap.  Kristy was babysitting and even she tried to brush it and fix it.  Mommy tried to get some pictures of it...

I also learned how to flush the toilet today all by myself.  I followed mommy into the potty and went over to the flusher and flushed it...several times.  It was funny! See the video!

Gymboree Make-up class

Mommy and Daddy took me to Gymboree to make up the class that we missed 2 weeks ago because of the bad storms.  I had fun! I even met some new friends.  I met Eliza whose mommy is friends with my mommy.  We did slides again today and it was more fun with mommy and daddy.  After Gymboree we went to Target my favorite place. Mommy says that I am so expensive.  All she bought was diapers, formula, and some baby food.  Geez! I just thought I was cute. But I loved riding in the cart and looking at the people and things at the store.  Mommy is glad that I am a super shopper!

Monkey

We have a monkey...her name is Olivia.  We went to church this morning and it was literally like trying to control and contain a monkey.  She is not the biggest fan of being held in a sitting position for a long time.  She is am monkey and was crawling all over us at church.  Sometimes it is hard to contain- you are using your entire body to keep her in check.  I only had to step out one time though because she got a little rowdy.  We don't expect her to sit still the whole time we are there- she is a baby and can't help but be curious and want to look around.  We bring toys to entertain her but that only lasts so long.  As we were leaving church today the family that sat behind us made a comment to Brendon, "It only gets better as they get older. You are doing a great job!" At least we didn't get any negative comments!
