No Nap, Cute Jammies, and the 1st Self Haircut

The past 2 days in a row...no nap.  Which means...very crabby little girl at times.  Last night crying over going to gymnastics and today asking WHY a million times! Plus we went to a couple stores after school and she was acting like a wild woman.

Finally about 5 minutes before we got home...she gave in...here she is in the driveway...she was not happy when I woke her up!

Since it has been chilly at night we have been wearing our warm jammies.  She is loving the footy jammies.  The past few days she has figured out the jammies...the arms (don't pull them in), the zipper (go slow), and tonight she finally got the snap at the top!

When I went to go check on the potty status...something fell out of the jammies...

I noticed a pair of scissors on the love seat when I brought Olivia her snack.  So in the 3 minutes I made her a bowl of cereal she cut her hair.  Now I thought this would happen a way long time ago...but it finally happened...just one little curl.  I had to laugh and I told her the story that once when Mema was cutting the grass...I cut my hair too! But I told her NO MORE cutting your hair...only the lady at the hair cutting place does it!

Olivia likes to play with my hone in the car sometimes...there are no games on it...but she likes to check the weather and take pictures!  Mostly she takes pictures of me driving...but I caught a few of these. Funny and so serious!!

Election Day- A Day Off!

Today was Election Day and a MUCH NEEDED day off of work for me!

We had breakfast, voted, ran lots of errands, and took a walk at Tribble Mill Park but on the trail in the woods.  I guess we thought it was a pretty short walk but it took us about an hour! If I looked correctly we may have walked about 2 miles...oops! Not sure if Olivia was up to that much walking but she had fun.  We saw some turtles, lots of squirrels, and lots of horse poop! But it was a perfect day for the walk and we all needed some fresh air! So happy to spend some time as a family!!

Another fun weekend

Even though Olivia still wasn't 100% we still had some fun this weekend!

Saturday it was soooooo cold when we woke up.  Daddy was brave and went biking and Olivia and I stayed home and did some vacuuming.  Then we got ready for Mark and Michelle's Georgia vs. Florida game party.  We usually host it but this year we did not...guess we jinxed it since Georiga lost!! But it was fun!

Today we had out Christmas pictures done at Freeman's Mill Park. Such a pretty park! Olivia was ok for the first moments of pictures and then after about 10 minutes she was all done.  So hopefully we got some cute shots!

Happy Halloween!

What a fun day we had.  It was actually really cold tonight when we trick or treated.  The kids had so much fun!!

Daddy and Olivia had a breakfast date at IHOP this morning and we were so excited that daddy came to trick or treat with us this year!  His first time!!

We also stopped at Olivia's Godparents! for a treat!

First Field Trip

Olivia went on her first field trip today.  I was so sad that I couldn't go...testing at school again! Grrr! But from the looks of the pictures she had fun.  After the pumpkin patch they went to Chic Fil a for lunch and I was so proud to hear that Olivia ate ALL of her chicken.  She really wanted to play in the play area I guess!!

Olivia is feeling a bit better...little bit of a random cough...that I heard 2 times.  We went to dance class which she complains about the whole way there- Idon't like it, it is not fun...you name it she says it...BUT when she is there she LOVES it!

Olivia is no fan of the camera sometimes but tonight I think because she saw some other parents taking pictures...she wanted her picture made too... it's blurry...the lighting in there is terrible!
