Busy, Busy Day!

Today was a very busy day! It started out with me running a 1/2 marathon this morning. It was called Thrill in the Hills and was at Fort Yargo State Park.  It was a hilly trail run to say the least.  My goal was 2:30 but I fell twice (have the war wounds to prove it) and all the movement around the roots made my knees a little sore. So my final time was 2:38.  I was so happy at the end I cried.  I was happy to finish, and very happy to see Brendon, Olivia, and Malissa at the finish line! Malissa also ran it but she ran a lot faster than me! But it was a great time!

Second, we went to Olivia's first birthday party.  Olivia's friend Raegan turned 1! It was so much fun and we got to see Karson and Peyton also! Raegan liked opening her presents and her cake! I kept thinking- this is going to be Olivia in a month!

Weird Weather Day

Today was a weird and wild weather day.  It was super warm this morning and then stormy.  Now it is windy and tomorrow it is going to be freezing cold.  We had a normal day around the house.  Olivia had some leftover chicken quesadilla for dinner and ate it like a champ! Probably the funniest thing that happened today was Olivia threw her first thing in the toilet.  She threw a letter magnet in the toilet.  Brendon was so shocked since all he did was turn around and in went the magnet! And yes- there was some pee pee in the toilet so Brendon had to fish the magnet out! Gross but funny! So we are going to start getting rid of the baby food and replace with table food.  Thankfully lots of Olivia's other friends are doing table foods too so they have shared some easy recipes!

75 Degrees!

No complaints about the weather today! It was 75 degrees! Brendon was home this afternoon after the 2nd part of his test/interview.  So we all played in the driveway together.  Today Kristy, Malakai (her boyfriend), and Max (Kristy's dog) came over to see me play in the driveway.  Brendon also got to come to Kindermusik tonight.  After Kindermusik we went out to dinner.  Olivia tried some Mexican food.  We are not buying anymore baby food! So she tried some chicken and cheese quesadilla and some beans.  She seemed to like it.  But she had a little spit up on the way home.  Not sure what happened there- maybe she ate too much.  It was such a nice afternoon to spend as a family!
