New things

A few weeks ago Olivia finally tried corn on the cob...it was success the first time...2 other times were not as successful as the first!

Tonight as I was cleaning her bathroom vanity she discovered the nail polish...so she asked me to paint her toe nails...and then her finger nails...! She was so excited about them!!

3 Half marathons in 4 weeks

My good fiend Wendy convinced me to do 3 half marathons in 4 weeks...

March 28th- Berry Half marathon- super pretty, but big hills in the middle! But gorgeous course! And did I mention it was FREEZING cold! Time 2 hours and 15 minutes

April 4th- Skidaway Island Half marathon- drove down to Savannah after work.  It was SO humid and the gnats were terrible! Time 2 hours and 20 minutes.  the last 3 miles were brutal and BORING! But beautiful place to run.  Oh yeah...and my music some how had no battery juice left...running 13 miles with no music is hard!

Finally last week April 18th- Georgia Peach Jam Half marathon.  Loved the course last year and of course it was wet again this year and a bit slippery! Time 2 hours and 17 minutes.

I am not happy with my times but my training has been different this year with working full time! Hoping to get more runs in this summer! Being a weekend, nap time runner is difficult on training for longer distances!

Dance pictures

We had our official dance pictures a few weeks ago.  Had to do the whole costume, make up and hair thing.  Hair HAD to be in a bun...it was REQUIRED!! The funny thing was that sitting with the other moms during class...NONE of us knew how to do a bun!! Too funny!!

Olivia did good and loved getting make up on!  She has some pretty cute pictures too! I was proud that she didn't fuss too much!

Oh my Rain

Since spring break it has rained, and rained, and rained so much that we don't even have the pool open yet!!

We have tried to keep busy with some rainy day activities!

Like....

Using ALL 100 blocks to build something!

Having a daddy and child dinner while the mommies went to dinner.

And making sausage...

On the days it is nice we are scrambling to get lots of stuff done outside!

Spring break 2015

Last week was spring break! Olivia and I had lots of fun!

Monday we went shopping at Target for Daddy's birthday presents and went o Subway for lunch! It was a rainy day so we just stayed home.

Tuesday we ran some more errands- Olivia got her hair cut, we got my rings inspected, got some birthday presents for our friend Michelle and played at home. 

Wednesday the sun came out!! Thank goodness!! Olivia and I went to look at some new flooring and then went to Sam's Club.  She was excited when we could get a sample of string cheese!!  We met our friend Emily at the park Wednesday night! It was fun!!

Thursday we went to the library and then the park. The library had a puppet show and then we checked out books.  I love the library...sometimes I wish I could work there and do story time =)

Thursday night we went to the park as a family! We brought the Barbie bike.  Olivia has no fear on the playground no...tall slides, climbing high up things! Crazy! But a fun night as a family!

Happy Easter 2015

It was a little chilly on Easter but nice and sunny especially in the afternoon.  Olivia wrote the Easter bunny a letter.  The Easter bunny left tracks by the back door and then a trail of eggs to her basket.  The eggs all had coins in them and she was sooo excited!!

We had an Easter party with friends the week before with a super duper egg hunt!

Super Biker

Olivia is loving riding her Barbie bike.  Best $15 we ever spent.  We tried making it a balance type bike but then she wouldn't get on it.  So Brendon put the pedals and training wheels back on it.  But she loves it.  She even told me to sell her tricycle because that it is for kids that are 2 or 3 years old.  Funny girl!!
