Camping before Thanksgiving

We decided to camp again before Thanksgiving.  It was chilly and we could not have any campfires due to the wildfires in north Georgia.  We had good weather though.  We went to Victoria Bryant State Park.  It was a smaller campground but nice.  We had a nice site, did some hiking, and a little bit of biking.

Thanksgiving at School

Olivia did the cutest little performance with her kindergarten class.  They did the ABCs of Thanksgiving.  Each child had a letter and something to say related to Thanksgiving that started with that letter.  Olivia was the narrator and did letter A.  She did really great! I was surprised how fast she learned her lines.  She was a cute little pilgrim.  After the performance there was a feast. Lots of yummy food!

November Fun- Football and the Belt Line

We kicked off November by heading to a local football game.  It was very chilly and windy but fun!

Since we had election day off of school we decided to have a fun family day and head to Atlanta to ride our bikes on the BeltLine and have lunch in Atlanta.  It was cool out but comfortable.  It was such a fun bike ride!  It wasn't too busy which was nice! There was lots of artwork to see and some Tiny Doors!

Halloween

This year at school we had dress like a book character day on Halloween.  Olivia and I decided to be Pete the Cat.  So thankful for Hobby Lobby! I was able to make shirts and headbands for less than $15.  Bought 2 yellow shirts, felt, and headbands! Voila! Pete the Cat and his groovy buttons!

Then for real trick or treating, Olivia dressed up as Owlette from PJ Masks.  We jsut went to the neighborhood across the street and to our neighbors.  Surprisingly we didn't have to throw much away.  She got lots of candy that were tree nut free.

Fort Yargo Camping

We decided to camp at Fort Yargo the weekend prior to Halloween! It was a gorgeous weekend.  Warm and a little chilly in the evenings.  We even saw Olivia's Pre K teacher!
