Pizza, Painting, PJs, and Rudolph

Tonight it was a pizza, painting, pjs and watching Rudolph kind of night!

We had pizza for dinner!

We did some painting!

We put on our pjs!

And we watched Rudolph =)

We had a fun night!

Now mommy is sick

Well I finally caught some germs.  I really thought some over the counter stuff would help but no...felt pretty bad this morning.

Made an appointment at Walgreens clinic and I have a sinus infection.  November and December are not very kind to our family from the sicknes point of view.  It seems that every year we get some form of sickness.  Hopefully I start feeling better! It is no fun being a sick mommy! Even though Olivia took great care of me tonight and followed me around with a box of tissues and was a great helper!

Dancing Girl

For the first time in weeks Olivia did not complain about going to dance class.  She actually behaved really well today and I think was only one of the girls who earned their three stickers today.  Most of the girls are older in her class- most are 4ish so I am proud of her for not getting in trouble today and listening to her dance teacher.

Busy Holiday Fun Filled Weekend!

We had a BUSY weekend!! We did lots of fun filled holiday stuff!

Saturday Olivia had a 30 minute gymnastics practice for her show this week.  After the practice, Brendon decided it was a great day to build our gingerbread house and make some cookies.  It was pretty rainy so it was a good day for it.  After all of that we had our friend Christmas party.  It was a good time and Olivia got her first My Little Pony!

Then Sunday we had another fun day. We drove to Atlanta...horrible ride, traffic, reroutes, and an emergency bathroom stop for ME! I was in tears I had to go so bad.  We finally made it to The Varsity for lunch.  Then we zoomed off to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer at the Center for Puppetry Arts.  It is so much fun AND we did the puppet workshop this year and made a super cool Rudolph shadow puppet!!

Super fun weekend...but I am wiped out!

Polar Express

Brendon dropped off the crabbiest little girl ever at school today.  But she cheered up when I brought her into the school and she saw how nice it was decorated for the holidays.  Then we went to Target.  It actually wasn't too crazy.  The cashier gave me a million bags with like 2 items in them...grrr!!!!  So it was a little overwhelming to sort them when I got home!

Then after dinner today and 30 minutes spent in the potty...we watched the Polar Express.  She wasn't a fan of it last year...but LOVED it this year.  We skipped one part- she didn't like the creepy broken toy part! I don't blame her. But I am so glad that she loved it!

This is from the free time they have at the end of the class and they play Freeze Dance!  I think it is hilarious that Olivia just wants to run around and hit everyone with her scarf...sigh...

Friendsgiving

Yesterday we had our friends over for a "Friendsgiving"

I truly enjoyed having everyone over as crazy as it can be at times...it is so worth it.  Never did I imagine 5 years ago I would be having a "Friendsgiving" with friends and their children.  I struggle with Thanksgiving week due to not having my family here and my miscarriage the day before Thanksgiving 5 years ago.  That just makes the holiday bittersweet for me because I wasn't thankful for anything 5 years ago, as I was mad at the world and just flat out sad! So thank you friends for coming, it made my week so much better to spend it with our new "family" of friends.  I am thankful for every time we get to see each other and the memories we have made and continue to make!
